The Fox - Tell us about your journey as an artist.
I think it’s been an amazing journey. I just feel like really lucky to be able to do what I love to do and I’ve been able to survive just with my music and it's been quite a few years and it’s still a long way to go.
The Fox - What made you get into electronic music?
A very good question but I think it's going to be a long, long answer to this. I don’t know, I’m kind of... ‘What made me get into electronic music?’ I think all of it, the sounds, the feel in the track, the emotions that you can portray in the track, the experimentation that you can do. You’re not restricted. For example if you're doing a certain style of music, you're not restricted to a guitar and drums and keyboards or whatever. You can just go crazy and create something very unique and I think that’s what I really like about electronic music.
The Fox - Where do you see your career going in the next few years?
Another interesting question… The future is unknown I think. And all I can say is, I just see myself making loads of music and playing at a lot of parties and gigs. And I really love to perform and I just hope it goes in the right direction.
The Fox - How have you seen the scene develop over the years?
I've definitely seen the scene develop over the years because I’m DJing since 2004 in India and that’s all I’m doing since then. And the first few years I did like residencies and all and we were like kind of restricted to the styles of music and there would be only certain styles of music being played in a club. But people have evolved, the crowd has evolved and now you see like 5, 6, 7 stages and festivals you know, running at the same time and each stage has different style of music which is incredible.
The Fox - What do you love about partying?
‘What do I love about partying?’ I think I love music the most and to give you an example um… if I walk in a club and even if I’m like super tired or something you know, it’s just like the first few beats kind of puts a smile on my face and it's just… I think electronic music just kind of gives me energy and that's what I really like about partying.
The Fox - Last but not least, a message to aspiring Electronic Music Producers and DJs out there?
Okay so guys, just keep doing it, keep practising, it takes time… it’s a lot of years of hard work and consistency but in the end it's really fruitful. Once you get the hang of it, once you're able to put the sounds in your head into your song it's a really rewarding feeling and you just keep doing it, just be at it.
